My knife designs have been influenced by traditional styles and my use of knives in the field. It's difficult to do everything efficiently with one knife style. My favorite is a single-bladed semi-skinner folding lock-back knife, which I find is very efficient in accomplishing most of the things I require of a knife, but I do have a variety of knives that are very efficient for specific jobs. Most of my knives are made for the individual who really uses and appreciates a knife that works well in the field; by this I mean it feels good in your hand and it balances and cuts extremely well due to thinness and edge geometry (my knives are not heavy-duty utility knives; they are fine-cutting instruments). Most of the positive feedback I get from my knives come from the serious and professional hunters.
